When AMBO of the APC boasts that he wo uld “ win Osun by August 8 next year because it will be a penalty without a goalkeeper,” he forgets one simple truth - an idea whose time has not come can never materialise. History is full of missed “open goals. AMBO needs to be reminded of Yakubu Aiyegbeni’s famous miss at the 2010 World Cup against South Korea — an empty net, a clear chance. Yet, Nigeria failed to qualify. That single moment teaches us that *even open goals can be missed. Football is full of such stories. Great players miss penalties. Top strikers fluff open chances. Nothing is guaranteed — not even when the goalkeeper is already beaten. In Osun politics , we have seen this too. AMBO should be taken down the history lane. CGS Old Students' Association Holds Inauguration of Newly Executive

The Community Grammar School Old Students' Association , Ring-Road held the inauguration of their newly elected executive together with yearly get-together party at thee school auditorium hall on Saturday 27th December, 2025 . The programme which commenced at exactly 10:00am with large turn out of old students from 1985 to 2024. The members were glad to meet again after so many years back and to know other sets. Mr. Olusegun Asaolu  implored members to pay their dues regularly to achieve a mile stone achievement during his tenure as president. He promised if members are faithful in the payment of their dues, each member celebrating will be supported with the token of N20,000 to support from his cabinet. Governor Ademola Adeleke has answered few critics of his administration and challenged them to judge him by his records as a governor in the last three years, affirming that he has delivered good governance across all sectors of Osun society.
