  The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Osun State Council , has extended Easter greetings to Christian faithful in the state, urging Nigerians to embrace the virtues of love, sacrifice, and unity as symbolized by the season. This is according to a statement issued by the Chairman, Comrade Adeyemi Aboderin and the Secretary, Comrade Olalekan Akindoju , to mark the Easter celebration. The Council described the occasion as a period that reflects hope, renewal, and the triumph of good over evil.  It noted that the significance of Easter goes beyond religious observance, calling on citizens to imbibe the values of selflessness, humility, and tolerance exemplified by Jesus Christ .   The leadership of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Osun State Council , has intensified efforts to strengthen collaboration between the media and academic institutions , following a series of courtesy visits to the management of Federal Polytechnic, Ede , and Osun State University .
