Seven reasons why people of Osun are not supposed to cast their votes for All Progressive Congress are stated below: 1. Retrogression: Osun State can not afford to go back to the level where APC left it before Governor Ademola Adeleke assumed office in November 2022. Comparing present development under the leadership of Governor Ademola Adeleke with where APC left it, it is just like comparing sleep with death. Governor Ademola Adeleke dualized roads in many towns and in all the three senatorial districts in Osun State. Modernized bridges at the strategic locations and towns. Provision of portable water in all the local governments in Osun State which for good twelve years of APC, there was nothing of such. Employment of teachers to various levels which is different from employment of staff done after Oyetola had lost the 2022 governorship election. Osun Communities, Motorists Call on Osun State Government, Security to Investigate Human Dead Bodies Dropping on Ilesa-Akure High way

 By Olayinka Awofadeju  People of Ikeji-Arakeji , Ipetu-Ijesa and Erin-Ike call on the state government, Police authority, Air Force Base at Ipetu-Ijesa , Road Safety Corp office at Ipetu-Ijesa , Amotekun and other security under the federal and the state government to help investigate those that have been dropping human dead bodies on the highway and arrest them. One of the dwellers of these communities who spoke with our media said within two to three months, from Ikeji-Arakeji to Erin-Ile they will see a human body dropped. He said this has been happening for some time and there are police stations and check points within these communities. The Rector, while speaking through his Deputy, Dr. Gboyega Oluwaseun Oyeleke at a two-day workshop on Skills Acquisition in  Food Processing and Hospitality as well as GSM Phone Maintenance and Repair . Twenty Five Lawmakers Defect from PDP to ACCORD Party

  Twenty five members of the Osun State House of Assembly who were elected under Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in year 2023 announced their defection after the parliamentary meeting yesterday from PDP, to the Accord Party . In a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Speaker, Olamide Tiamiyu , the legislators said their decision was reached after consultations and internal deliberations and they have submitted their resignation letter to PDP weeks past. The lawmakers proceeded to the Banquet Hall to meet with the governor and top Accord Party leaders after the parliamentary meeting where the formal declaration was officially made by the Speaker.  The Speaker of the House, Adewale Egbedun , was among the twenty five lawmakers who announced their defection. Gunmen Attacks Obi, Ogigie-Oyegun, ADC Chieftains in Edo

  Peter Obi and the Africa Democratic Congress leaders on visit to Edo at the formal declaration of Olumide Akpata into the African Democratic Congress were attacked by armed thugs. This was disclosed by Obi’s former campaign spokesman and National Coordinator of the Obidient Movement Worldwide , Dr. Yunusa Tanko , in a statement issued in Abuja.  "Immediately the ADC leaders with 2023 Presidential Candidate under Labour party, Peter Obi left the ADC State Secretariat to the residence of Chief John Odigie-Oyegun , the political armed thugs had followed.  The armed thugs were ready to kill everyone if not that the gate was quickly locked against them before DSS personnel started retaliating. Tinubu replaces IGP Kayode Egbetokun with Tunji Disu

Kayode Egbetokun has been removed from  his position as Inspector General of Police by the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu . He is to be succeeded by Tunji Disu , the Assistant Inspector General of Police overseeing the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) Annex in Alagbon, Lagos . Senior police officials and sources within the Police Service Commission confirmed the development on Tuesday. “Egbetokun was at the Presidential Villa yesterday and was told to go and prepare his handover notes.
