 Tobiloba-Taiwo Awofadeju The Osun State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to protecting the state’s rich cultural heritage, sacred sites and festivals while promoting peace, tolerance and unity among people of different faiths. The government also said it would continue to harness culture and tourism as tools for job creation and sustainable development across the state.    The General Officer Commanding (GOC), 2 Division, Nigerian Army (NA), Major General Auwalu Mahmuda has charged troops providing security for Osun State Off Cycle Gubernatorial Election to be professional and adhere strictly to the Code of Conduct for Election duty . Tobiloba-Taiwo Awofadeju   Thousands of devotees, tourists and culture enthusiasts on Friday besieged the sacred Osun-Osogbo Grove as the grand finale of the 2026 Osun Osogbo Festival climaxed in a carnival of colour, spirituality and royalty.
