Road approved but abandoned: 2026 governorship election, we will vote where solutions can come

Dwellers of Olojabala , Irepodun , Gbidigbi to Owode-Ede lamented abandoning of their road from Osunjela that leads to Owode-Ede/Osu Express road which has been approved since 2024. They remembered the road especially this week when there was traffic from Ilesa Garage to Osunjela, they complained that if their road had been constructed, it would have served as alternative route. Apart from that, farmers are facing difficulties during this raining season as the condition of the road has gone from bad to worst. Transportation fare from the Osunjela junction has increased because of the condition of the road. While speaking, Mr. Ilesanmi one of the dwellers of Olojabala said, Osun State government has diverted their road which was approved since 2024 to another place because their road is not at the main town. Eid-el-Kabir: Osun Poly Rector, Alhaji Kehinde Alabi, Preaches Obedience, Sacrifice, Love, Charity

As Muslims all over the world celebrate the Eid-el-Kabir today, the Rector, Osun State Polytechnic, Iree , Alhaji Kehinde Adeyemi Alabi , has charged the Muslim Ummah in the institution on the occasion of this year’s Eid Adha celebration to be more prayerful, obedient, dedicated, diligent and love one another. Alhaji Alabi, in a message he personally authored, urged the Islamic faithful to use this season to pray for peace in Osun State, especially for God's continued support of Governor Adeleke's victory in the August 15 governorship election . He charged them to borrow a leaf from the life of Prophet Mohammed who yielded to the instructions of God to sacrifice his only begotten son, Ismail in obedience to God.
