Osu-Oja 2025 holds April 19 As Owalare inaugurates Planing Committee

By Oduduwa Media  The 2025 Osu-Oja Festival, Ilare, Obokun Local Government Area of Osun State will hold on 19th April, 2025, the Owalare of Ilare, Oba Adejoro Otebolaku JP, Ogidan III has declared. The Owalare, through his spokesperson, Chief (Dr.) Tope Abiola, the Odole-Owa of Ilare, who is also the Chairman of the Planing Committee, in a press release said a committee had been put in place by the monarch to organise the festival to make it a funfair celebration. Osu-Oja is a bi-annual celebration which involves prayers for inhabitants of the town by the monarch. It is a celebration which brings all the Eka-Osuns (Igigun, Ipepeji, Iloja, Igbo Iloyi-Ajeoku, Okeogun and Iketewi) together to celebrate their unity and remind them of their ancestral migration from Ile-Ife.
