CGS 2000 set: 2023 reunion at Abeokuta

Community Grammar School, Ring Road, Ibadan year 2000 set started the yearly hangout last year (2022) in Ibadan which was glamorous. This year hangout which was yesterday 25th November, 2023 was taken to Abeokuta where the members enjoyed themselves and to see themselves, some after a year while some since departure in year 2000.


The members who attended the get together (hangout) visited many place like Odo-Ogun and Olumo Rock, where cake and many other activities took place.

The chairman Mr. Happy Enuma encouraged every member to be creating a day to meet with old colleagues, he said this will strengthen our love and we can connect business and many other benefits can be gotten. Chairman further appreciated those attended and the executives for their hard work to make this gathering a success.


In attendance were chairman, Happy Enuma, Seun Balogun, Akeem Olaogun, James Uvih, Olanrewaju Adesiyan, Dimeji Oyedokun, Esther Nwagu, Dada Busayo, Bola Jones, Bukky Olanrewaju, Ayoola Tope.

Many others contributed for the reunion, but couldn’t attend due to other very important engagement.

14th Convocation Ceremony: JABU Graduates 467 Students

 By Olayinka Awofadeju At Joseph Ayo Babalola University Vice Chancellor's press conference held on 4th December, 2023 at the Senate Chamber. Vice Chancellor, Professor Olaosebikan Fakolujo that the University graduated 467 students while 23 finished with first class, 205 finished with second class upper, 172 finished with second class lower and others are within third class to pass. The overall best graduating student for the academic session was Mary Ayobayo from Computer Science. She graduated with 4.89, which is a step better than the last best graduating student who finished with 4.87. While speaking, VC made it known that the school equally graduated 12 PhD students in 2022/2023 academic session. Eight PhD students graduated from the department of Entrepreneurship, three from Business Administration while one graduated from Accounting department.
