Everlasting Father: RCCG Osun Province 6 Go A Fishing

As the culture of The Redeemed Christian Church of God yearly to proceed into Christmas festival with "Go A Fishing" where they win souls for the Lord Jesus Christ. The programme which is between 22nd to 24th December, 2023, the theme for this year is Everlasting Father.

RCCG, Osun Province 6 held their Go A Fishing programme behind Galaxy Hotel, close to LAMECO round about, Osogbo, Osun State.

The purpose of the programme is to win souls and to establish a parish in that vicinity where people can be worshipping God.

While ministering on the second day, Pastor Akinwale Akinleye made it known that Everlasting Father is the Almighty God, he came down and became a man like us. He came and be born as human, he said this was a great miracle.

After the ministration, pastor called for repentance and prayed with those who were willing to surrender their lives unto the Lord.

Before the close of the programme, Provincial pastor, Pastor Oladoye Jide encouraged members to invite friends and neighbors while coming for the last day of the programme on Sunday evening. He announced to the congregation that the new parish will be called 'Sanctuary of Praise'. The new members were encouraged to be steadfast and invited their friends and family members to the parish.

In attendance were Provincial pastor, Pastor Oladoye Jide, Pastor Oderinde Sam, Pastor Akinwale Akinleye, Pastor Toki, Pastor Abodunrin, Pastor Faronbi, Pastor Tawose, Pastor Adepoju, Pastor Ogunkola, Pastor Faniran, Pastor Matanmi, Pastor Eseigbe, pastors' wives and workers from all the parishes under Osun Province 6.

14th Convocation Ceremony: JABU Graduates 467 Students

 By Olayinka Awofadeju At Joseph Ayo Babalola University Vice Chancellor's press conference held on 4th December, 2023 at the Senate Chamber. Vice Chancellor, Professor Olaosebikan Fakolujo that the University graduated 467 students while 23 finished with first class, 205 finished with second class upper, 172 finished with second class lower and others are within third class to pass. The overall best graduating student for the academic session was Mary Ayobayo from Computer Science. She graduated with 4.89, which is a step better than the last best graduating student who finished with 4.87. While speaking, VC made it known that the school equally graduated 12 PhD students in 2022/2023 academic session. Eight PhD students graduated from the department of Entrepreneurship, three from Business Administration while one graduated from Accounting department.
