LOCAL GOVERNMENT ELECTION: MY WORK WILL SPEAK FOR ME – HON. ADEOLU

It's impressive to hear about successes of Honorable Sakiru Adeleke Adeolu, Chairman Egbedore South LCDA in office within just few months as caretaker chairman. He narrated his achievement at People Democratic Party's general meeting at Ofatedo, Osun State on Sunday 21st January, 2024.
Honorable Adeolu said he repaired the inherited grader which demonstrates his commitment to infrastructure development. He allocated almost 4.8 million for the repair of the grader. Being the only local government to have a functioning grader, this reflects his dedication to improving local services and addressing challenges left by the last administration.
Mass grading of road has commenced since last two months and the first face will end by February. Tomorrow Monday, he said people can check Ayoolorun as the work continues there. From Ayoolorun, grader will move to Halleluyah, Rinsayo, Olorunsogo, Ofatedo and back to Ido-Osun for the face one of the work. Face two will start by the middle of February. He said.
His dedication to road grading is evident with the significant investment of close to three million naira he has spent on the first face which covers thirty kilometers. Second phase will start in mid-February.
While stating his achievement, chairman said his administration has just completed a borehole project at Olofa market and there is another ongoing one at Aduramigba community which showcase a proactive approach to addressing water needs. He said the two boreholes will be installed simultaneously to ensure timely access to clean water for both locations.
He opened up on his plan to provide grants for elders in April and May, this will benefit one hundred and fifty people from the local government, this is an initiative to boost local economies. This is to support community members and fostering economic growth within the local government.
Hon. Adeolu organized a comprehensive free health care programme on Friday 22nd December, 2023 which included operations, medications, and reading glasses. By highlighting its standard and uniqueness, he positions his achievements as surpassing those of other chairmen in Osun State.
The free medical services rendered free operations to twenty-four people and almost seven hundred people received free medications, including free glasses. Fifty medical doctors from UNIOSUNTH and OAUTH were invited and were on grand. The cost of the free health care was six million naira for the well-being of the community.
Hon. Adeolu's confidence in his work, expressing a lack of fear for election and relying on the results of his achievements to speak for him during the election time.
