Marking a Year in Office, Osun Federal Lawmaker Analyzes Achievement

Honourable representing Egbedore, Ede South, Ede North and Ejigbo Federal Constituency, Hon. Bamidele Salam' score card within one year of his second term at the House of Representative in Abuja.

Hon. Bamidele Salam in a viral video on the social media stated all his efforts within one year in office during this his second term to his constituency. He said he has facilitated community development projects, programmes and initiatives. He has provided infrastructures and general development to the communities.

Highlighting his contributions to the development of the communities under his constituency in the area of electrification, he said he has provided 500kva new transformer to a community called Sekona in Osun State. The community was without light for more than one year, but in the month of July 2023, the transformer was delivered to them.

Same thing goes for Alapupu community which is close to Okinni in ward 10 of Egbedore local government, the old transformer they were using couldn't power the community again as the community has extended beyond the capacity of the old transformer, honorable Salam donated another brand new 500kva transformer to them in the same month of July 2023.

Another community, Oke Arula was sharing transformer with nearby community, due to the extension of those communities, the transformer couldn't power them comfortably, a brand new 500kva transformer was donated to them in the same month of July 2023 by honourable Bamidele Salam.

Honourable said, Idigba community in Ejigbo local government also received a brand new 500kva transformer to assist the community.

Present plans on ground, honourable Bamidele Salam has approved 500kva with extension of a kilometer to Oke Awere community in Ede South local government. This is a large and new community, their is no power supply to the community at present.

Ola Community in Ejigbo local government, Akewula Oke Yidi in Ede North local government and Oke Langin community in Ejigbo have gone large and are in need of new transformers. Presently, 500kva each has been approved for them by the honourable Bamidele Salam.

He said this is just what he has accomplished in the area of illuminating the communities within one year of his second term and what he still has in mind for communities under his constituency.

Honourable Bamidele Salam promised to do his best to serve his people responsibly.

14th Convocation Ceremony: JABU Graduates 467 Students

Vice Chancellor, Professor Olaosebikan Fakolujo that the University graduated 467 students while 23 finished with first class, 205 finished with second class upper, 172 finished with second class lower and others are within third class to pass. The overall best graduating student for the academic session was Mary Ayobayo from Computer Science. She graduated with 4.89, which is a step better than the last best graduating student who finished with 4.87. While speaking, VC made it known that the school equally graduated 12 PhD students in 2022/2023 academic session.
