2024 World Theater Day: Let's work for sustainability of theater legacies among future generations to boost the state economy, Gov. Adeleke tells stakeholders

Tobiloba Taiwo-Awofadeju The Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke has urged the people of the state, especially, theatre stakeholders to sustain the legacies of the sector among future generations, thereby redeeming its glory for the benefit of the state. The Governor gave the advice at the year 2024 World Theater Day celebration, held in Osogbo, the State Capital. Governor Adeleke, who spoke through  the Vice- Chairman, Osun State Council for Art and Culture, Hon. Seyi Orolugbagbe, stressed that theater goes beyond entertainment, but a wealth creator, and employer of labour. He added that Osun remains the hub of theater practice, stating that the State has many iconic figures in the industry such as, Late Oyin Adejobi; Late Duro ladipo, Kareem Adepoju, popularly known as Baba Wande, Ray  Eyiwumi and Kola Ogunmola among others, who had their exploits beyond the shores of Nigeria. Tobiloba Taiwo-Awofadeju Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke has disclosed the readiness of his administration to bring back to life the dying glory of the entertainment industry in the State. Governor Adeleke stated this at the flag-off of *The Most Popular Celebrity Award* held in Osogbo,the Osun State capital . Governor Adeleke who was represented by the State Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Hon. Bankole Ojo described entertainment industry as one of the veritable avenues to generate fame and big revenue for the state and Nigeria at large. MY FIRST DAY AT MEDIA AND COMMUNICATION COURSE AT JOSEPH AYO BABALOLA UNIVERSITY

K Adeleke  After a strenuous ten hours’ drive from Abuja to Ikeji Arakeji in Osun State, the venue for the course on the 25th of February, 2024 to attend a course organized by the Publicity Department, This course was designed primarily for the Publicity Secretaries of Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas and Joseph Ayo Babalola University. The course was designed primarily for all publicity Secretaries, media team at all levels in the church, PROs of groups, Departments and Societies; Youths; interested Church Ministers, Workers and Members. The course is also open to anyone with a flair for Journalism, Public, Relations and Media works.  On arrival at the University premises at about eight o’clock pm I went straight to where I lodged waiting for the D-day which is 26th February, 2024 to come. New Osun NAWOJ Chairperson Pledges Association's Support to State Government.

By Tobiloba Taiwo-Awofadeju, The newly installed NAWOJ Chairperson in Osun State, Comrade Bisola Ariwodola has pledged the Association's support to the State Government in her developmental endeavor, even as she appealed to the State Government, under the leadership of Governor Ademola Adeleke, to prioritize inclusion of women in his administration to jointly develop the State. This statement was made at the swearing-in of new executive members to pilot the Affairs of the Association for the next three years. In her inaugural speech as Osun State NAWOJ Chairperson, Comrade Ariwodola thanked the information Chapel for ratifying her candidacy to represent them, she also appreciated members of the Association for voting her and other executives to lead the Union.
