OSU-OJA FESTIVAL COMMENCES IN ILARE

 By Oduduwa Media  Grand finale holds Saturday 19th  Activities marking the celebration of 2025 edition of a major traditional festival in Ilare-Ijesa, Osu-Oja festival, also known as Odun Ade has commenced in the town today. Osu-Oja Festival which is celebrated by the monarch of the town with members of the royal family and the entire people of Ilare is celebrated once in every three years. A statement by curator of the festival, Dr. Tope Abiola, the Odole-Owa of Ilare states that activities marking the festival has started today, Thursday 17th April with the Egigun Oba, Gbadolofi which has gone round the town with it's traditional prayers . Osun Govt warns land encroachers to vacate immediately

Tobiloba Taiwo-Awofadeju The Osun State Government has warned land grabbers encroaching government lands across the state to vacate the lands with immediate effect or face the wrath of the law. The Special Adviser to the Governor on Assets Management, Mrs Fausat Sarumi-Adebanjo, gave the warning during a monitoring exercise embarked upon by the Osun Assets Management Agency officials. The team visited the Osun State Broadcasting Corporation (OSBC), Oke Baale, and Ogidan Grammar School area, Sasa, Osogbo, where it discovered that unpatriotic elements had encroached and vast parcel of the establishment's land Mrs Sarumi-Adebanjo stated that the Osun State Government is ready to claim back its properties, adding that the assets of the state constitute the wealth of the people.  She called on the people who had built structures on government land to visit the office of the Osun Assets Management Agency with their land documents without further delay.  During the monitoring, it was...

Osun State Needs Massive and Unbiased Employment

 By Oduduwa Media  Close to twenty years of real and publicized employment in Osun State under former governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola, there is no real and unbiased employment in Osun State. Twelve years of All Progressive Congress rulling in Osun State, only backdoor employment were done for their party members. Youths were turned to sweepers and bush cutters under Osun State Youth Empowerment Scheme (OYES) under Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and governor Oyetola. Graduates mean nothing to our leaders, yet establishing new universities, and converting NCEs and Polytechnics into universities in Nigeria. Many graduates have become scammers when there is no job for them and they have acquired skills from their various universities.  This is third year of governor Ademola Adeleke's government in Osun State, he needs to massively employ youths to civil service work and to all our higher institutions, hospitals and health centres without bias. Our Students are Safe, No record of death - OSPOLY Management

 By Oduduwa Media  Management of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree has allayed the fear of parents and guardians of students of the institution over a conflict that ensued between two rival groups of students in the Institution on Tuesday, saying "our students are safe" The Registrar of the polytechnic, Mr Abiodun Oloyede in a statement said "our campus is calm, normal administrative and academic activities are in progress. Students are going on with their lectures and other academic engagements while staffers are going about their administrative duties", Oloyede said The Registrar also noted that the Anti Cultism Squad of the Nigeria Police and other Security operatives are fully on ground to forestall any suspected crisis.
