 By Olayinka Awofadeju  As usual, Redeemed Christian Church of God, Osun Province 6 coordinated their members to organize Let's Go 'A' Fishing for Easter season for year 2025 at Egbedi community between 17-21 April, 2025. Ministering on Saturday 19th April, 2025 was Pastor Solomon Oladoja from RCCG, Emmanuel Model Parish on the the theme of the programme for the season 'from darkness to light'.  The preacher emphasized the needs to come out from darkness to the marvelous light of Jesus Christ. He stated the disadvantages of staying in darkness as terror, pestilence and many others with biblical backups. The programme was attended by several leaders within Osun Province 6, like pastor Akinlotan (APICP Admin), Pastor Ademoluti (APICP CSR), pastors wives, ministers, workers, members and new members who came into the light of Christ.

By Oduduwa Media  Osun Poly Rector charges The Rector, Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, Mr Kehinde Adeyemi Alabi has charged staffers of the polytechnic to remain pious, loving and holy as they celebrate the feast of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Mr Alabi in a statement urged the Polytechnic Community to abide by the lessons learnt in their forty days of fasting and prayers, which he said would assist them in their attitude to life. The Rector urged that the fruits of Easter include penance, forgiveness, reconciliation, love, charity, holiness, dedication, commitment, and perseverance. He noted that all these attributes are needed for human beings to live a good and meaningful life.  By Oduduwa Media  Grand finale holds Saturday 19th  Activities marking the celebration of 2025 edition of a major traditional festival in Ilare-Ijesa, Osu-Oja festival, also known as Odun Ade has commenced in the town today. Osu-Oja Festival which is celebrated by the monarch of the town with members of the royal family and the entire people of Ilare is celebrated once in every three years. A statement by curator of the festival, Dr. Tope Abiola, the Odole-Owa of Ilare states that activities marking the festival has started today, Thursday 17th April with the Egigun Oba, Gbadolofi which has gone round the town with it's traditional prayers . Tobiloba Taiwo-Awofadeju The Osun State Government has warned land grabbers encroaching government lands across the state to vacate the lands with immediate effect or face the wrath of the law. The Special Adviser to the Governor on Assets Management, Mrs Fausat Sarumi-Adebanjo, gave the warning during a monitoring exercise embarked upon by the Osun Assets Management Agency officials. Twelve years of All Progressive Congress rulling in Osun State, only backdoor employment were done for their party members. Youths were turned to sweepers and bush cutters under Osun State Youth Empowerment Scheme (OYES) under Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and governor Oyetola. Graduates mean nothing to our leaders, yet establishing new universities, and converting NCEs and Polytechnics into universities in Nigeria. Many graduates have become scammers when there is no job for them and they have acquired skills from their various universities.  This is third year of governor Ademola Adeleke's government in Osun State, he needs to massively employ youths to civil service work and to all our higher institutions, hospitals and health centres without bias.  By Oduduwa Media  Management of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree has allayed the fear of parents and guardians of students of the institution over a conflict that ensued between two rival groups of students in the Institution on Tuesday, saying "our students are safe" The Registrar of the polytechnic, Mr Abiodun Oloyede in a statement said "our campus is calm, normal administrative and academic activities are in progress. Students are going on with their lectures and other academic engagements while staffers are going about their administrative duties", Oloyede said The Registrar also noted that the Anti Cultism Squad of the Nigeria Police and other Security operatives are fully on ground to forestall any suspected crisis.
