Honourable Akin Ajetunmobi's birthday: revelation of hope for Osun State youths

Today Sunday 19th November, 2023 which happened to be the birthday of honourable Akinwale Oyewale Ajetunmobi, the Special Adviser to Osun State government on school monitoring was a joyful day for the him as he expressed his happiness while chatting with Oduduwa media.
He appreciated God for His divine protection and the position He put him today. He said it has been God who has been protecting and providing for him, even when People Democratic Party was not in power in Osun State. According to him, when the power supposed to come to PDP in year 2018 when PDP won the election, it was taken away by force by APC, yet all glory be to God as He finally returned the mandate back to PDP last year which was year 2022.
Honourable Ajetunmobi praised God for his appointment as Special Adviser on school monitoring to the state government on 16th July, 2023. He said as he advanced in age, he is advancing politically too. He narrated his ordeal in politics, he was voted for in year 1992 as honourable member of House of Representative in Abuja, on 19th November, 1993 they were sent packing by Abacha military government and they were sent back to their various states. In 2003, he was appointed as care taker chairman Egbedore local government and 2004, he was elected as executive chairman of Egbedore local government till 2007.
He said, if they were not sent packing by Abacha government, only God would know what their end would have been by now. He appreciated the past and the present as he believed that everything in life are in the hands of God.
He really appreciated the state government, led by Senator Ademola Jackson Adeleke for his appointment. According to him, he expected another position, but God said this present position is the best for him.
Honourable Ajetunmobi said governor is working assiduously to engage youths in the state, he said, an idle hand is the devil workshop. He said even our governor is a youth and has been appointing youths to political positions. Very soon, state government will employ youths in the state to various vacant positions in various ministries. He promised that graduates and artisans will be engaged soon. According to him, vocational training will start where different skills can be taught to engage youths to find something better to do and to add to the image of the state.
Honourable Ajetunmobi appreciated two of his mentors, though they are now late. The first is late Layiwola Ogunrinade (of blessed memory) and the second is late Chief Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke. He said all he learnt from them made him who he is today. As he said, he also has mentees who are following his footsteps in politics to make life better and for them to also grow politically.
