A Day Free Medical Outreach: Egbedore Local Government Benefit Health Attentions

Today Friday 22nd of December, 2023 at Ofatedo health centre, people came out in Mass to benefit from a day medical outreach organized by the Chairman of Egbedore South Local Council Development Area, Ido Osun, Hon. Adeleke Sakiru Adeolu in conjunction with his cabinets.

Medical practitioners from Uniosun Teaching Hospital were in attendance in their numbers to attend to all the related complaints from the people.

Part of the treatment given today at the venue are: 

MEDICAL:

 (a) Medical screening for Hepatitis                  

 (b) Medical screening for Diabetes

 (c) Management of Hypertension;

 (d) Management of DM;

 (e) General Health Promotion;

 (f) Free Ophthalmologist examination;

 (g) Distribution of free reading glass.

(2) SURGICAL:

 (a) Herniorrhaphy

 (b) Heniotomy;

 (c) Hydrocelectomy;

 (d) Breast Lump excision;

 (e) Lipoma excision

 (f) Sebaceous cyst

 (1) excision;

 (g) Papilloma excision;

 (i) Ganglion excision

In attendance were People Democratic Party leaders from Ofatedo like Hon. Adeleke Sakiru Adeolu, Hon. Jimoh Oseni, Hon. Tayo Jimoh, Alhaja Rashidat (women leader), leaders from Olorunsogo like mama Oyawoye and leaders from Ido Osun like Ajetunmobi, Special Assistant in the area of school monitoring to the state governor, Hon. Rotimi Ogunrinade (Honourable representing Egbedore Local Government in the House of Assembly) and many other leaders that graced the occasion.

14th Convocation Ceremony: JABU Graduates 467 Students

 By Olayinka Awofadeju At Joseph Ayo Babalola University Vice Chancellor's press conference held on 4th December, 2023 at the Senate Chamber. Vice Chancellor, Professor Olaosebikan Fakolujo that the University graduated 467 students while 23 finished with first class, 205 finished with second class upper, 172 finished with second class lower and others are within third class to pass. The overall best graduating student for the academic session was Mary Ayobayo from Computer Science. She graduated with 4.89, which is a step better than the last best graduating student who finished with 4.87. While speaking, VC made it known that the school equally graduated 12 PhD students in 2022/2023 academic session. Eight PhD students graduated from the department of Entrepreneurship, three from Business Administration while one graduated from Accounting department.
