Faseru emphasises on the importance of peaceful co-existence among farmers,

Osun State Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Security, Otunba Tola Faseru has disclosed that the present administration, will, do everything morally and officially possible to ensure that peace reigns among all sectors of the farming population. 

Otunba Faseru said this in his office during a courtesy call paid on him by the members of Fulani herdsmen in the state.

The Commissioner, who, expressed happiness over the visit, emphasized on the importance of peace in the society, stressing that, absence of peace can definitely affect the production of foods. 

 He stressed further that, the present administration is a lover of peace and productivity, just as he equally advanced that, the cooperation of the Fulanis is required from time to time. 

Also speaking, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Agriculture, Honourable Olaniran Atidade, enjoined all the herdsmen in Osun state to work hand in hand with the Government to achieve an overall development. 

Speaking earlier, the State Chairman of the Fulani Association, Alhaji Dende Babatunde appreciated the Commissioner and the management of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security present at the meeting for their time and patience. He ,therefore, used the avenue to call for the inauguration of peace committee for farmers and Fulani herdsmen in the state.

Alhaji Oloruntoyin Suliman who moved a vote of thanks on behalf of the Fulanis at the meeting assured the Commissioner of total co-operation with the State Government.

The meeting was attended by the management and staffers of the Ministry.

The Admission Form is sold for a sum of Twenty Thousand Naira (N20,000) only. Interested applicants are to log on to ospolyportal.com to purchase the form.
