Is Governor Ademola Adeleke Really Performing in Osun State?

Critics say a lot about governor Ademola Adeleke's performance, especially from the opposition in Osun State. Many peddled the rumour and also published many untrue information from many online medium that he absconded when he ought to itemise his achievement within a year in office.

Some others claimed that he was ill and not sound health wise. All these were refuted when Senator Ademola Adeleke returned to the country and to the state. 

Senator Ademola Adeleke is not a noise maker, he has achieved a lot within his one year in office and surpassed achievement of his predecessor.

Recently, Senator Ademola Adeleke emphasized his decision to complete all the uncompleted projects of his predecessors, which he had started working on since his assumption.

There are ongoing dualization of major roads in Osun State which have gone beyond starting stage but are at advanced stages.

Dualization from Akoda - Ede to Ofatedo road, Old Garage to Lameco road in Osogbo, and Dele Yes Sir to Iwo road are ongoing and at advanced stages.

One of the  ongoing dualization which is Dele Yes Sir to Iwo was contracted to Peculiar Ultimate Concerns LTD. This road was contracted to this company by the two state (Oyo and Osun States), the team from Osun State will meet the other team from Ibadan at Osun State boundary at Iwo. As we speak, the work is at advanced stage as the contractor works day and night to deliver quality job. This is same as other contractors working at Apoda-Ede-Ofatedo road and Old Garage-Lameco road.

Dedication of Senator Ademola Adeleke is beyond blowing his achievement on the media as his achievement are obvious and eyes can see. Within months he assumed the office of the state government, he completed Old Garage - Ikirun dualization which was abandoned by the last administration. Apart from this, payment of salaries at the right time, payment of gratuity to retires and many more without putting the state on loan which is the nature of others.

Looking at achievement of Senator Ademola Adeleke from the side of education, performance of students in the public schools have increased which is adding to the image of the state. This is because governor has employed more teachers and provide needed materials to improved the performance of the students.

The question is, is Senator Ademola Adeleke not performing as expected?

14th Convocation Ceremony: JABU Graduates 467 Students

 By Olayinka Awofadeju At Joseph Ayo Babalola University Vice Chancellor's press conference held on 4th December, 2023 at the Senate Chamber. Vice Chancellor, Professor Olaosebikan Fakolujo that the University graduated 467 students while 23 finished with first class, 205 finished with second class upper, 172 finished with second class lower and others are within third class to pass. The overall best graduating student for the academic session was Mary Ayobayo from Computer Science. She graduated with 4.89, which is a step better than the last best graduating student who finished with 4.87. While speaking, VC made it known that the school equally graduated 12 PhD students in 2022/2023 academic session.
