On December 13, 2023, Joseph Ayo Babalola University resonated with the vibrant notes of Christmas cheer. The annual carol service, a cornerstone of the university's festive traditions, unfolded within the grand confines of the university auditorium, transforming it into a haven of music. 

The university choir, adorned in their Christmas best, opened the carol with a breathtaking rendition of "O Come All Ye Faithful," The traditional Carol of five lessons, included other performances like the Choir ministration, drama, children drama and other exciting performances

Adding their esteemed presence to the festive gathering were the Vice Chancellor and other dignitaries of the university. Their participation underscored the importance the university places on fostering a spirit of community and togetherness during this special time.

The evening reached its crescendo with the University Chaplain taking the stage. In a short exhortation, he spoke of the enduring message of hope and love that lies at the heart of Christmas, urging the audience to embrace the spirit of generosity and compassion in their daily lives. His words resonated deeply with the crowd, leaving a lasting impression of the true essence of the season.

As the final notes of the carol service faded, a sense of peace and contentment settled over the auditorium. The choir, once again led by their conductor, launched into a spirited rendition of "The Twelve Days of Christmas," prompting a joyous sing-along that brought the evening to a merry close.

The annual Christmas carol service at Joseph Ayo Babalola University was more than just a festive gathering; it was a testament to the power of shared joy, faith, and community. It was a reminder that even in the midst of a bustling academic year, the spirit of Christmas can find a warm home within the hearts of students and staff alike, leaving behind a trail of twinkling memories that will last long after the final carol has been sung

By Oduduwa Media  Management of Osun State Polytechnic Iree has rolled out its Admission Application Form for the 2024/2025 Academic Session for the Daily Part-Time Programme. The Admission Form is sold for a sum of Twenty Thousand Naira (N20,000) only. Interested applicants are to log on to ospolyportal.com to purchase the form. Such applicants, according to a release by the Institution's Registrar Mr Abiodun Oloyede, must possess credit passes in English Language, Mathematics and three other relevant subjects in the applicants’ areas of study in Science, Engineering, Information and Communication Technology, Environmental Studies, Industrial Arts and Design, Financial Studies and Management Studies.
