A Day Free Medical Outreach at Ofatedo Health Centre, Egbedore South LCD Chairman Invites the General Public

As announced by the Egbedore South LCD Chairman, Honourable Adeleke Sakiru Adeolu at People Democratic Party's meeting on Sunday, he said there will be free medical outreach at Ofatedo health centre on Friday 22nd December, 2023 starting from 9:00am.

He said invitation is free for anyone having any of these medical challenges, Medical outreach involves people with Hepatitis, Diabetes, Hypertension, general health promotion, free opthalmologist examination, free reading glass, Surgical outreach, herniorrhaphy, Herniotomy, Hydrocelectomy, Breast lump excision, Lipoma excision, Sebaceous cyst excision, Papilloma excision should make themselves available before the said time.

As he said while talking with our media, many people are going here and there with one ailment or the other. To avoid untimely death over what small amount of money could avert, that's why this outreach is organized for our people.

Honourable Adeleke Sakiru Adeolu said there will be form available for people to collect which will indicate what disease they need attention for and this will make the exercise easy as individual will line up before the medical doctors that will be attending to each health issue.

Chairman said, at least, there will be up to thirty medical doctors available for the exercise and this exercise is not meant for PDP members alone, but for everyone around the community.

14th Convocation Ceremony: JABU Graduates 467 Students

 By Olayinka Awofadeju At Joseph Ayo Babalola University Vice Chancellor's press conference held on 4th December, 2023 at the Senate Chamber. Vice Chancellor, Professor Olaosebikan Fakolujo that the University graduated 467 students while 23 finished with first class, 205 finished with second class upper, 172 finished with second class lower and others are within third class to pass. The overall best graduating student for the academic session was Mary Ayobayo from Computer Science. She graduated with 4.89, which is a step better than the last best graduating student who finished with 4.87. While speaking, VC made it known that the school equally graduated 12 PhD students in 2022/2023 academic session. Eight PhD students graduated from the department of Entrepreneurship, three from Business Administration while one graduated from Accounting department.
