Sad: Ondo Governor, Akeredolu Dies After Prolonged Battle With Leukemia

The Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, was announced dead this morning wednesday 27th December, 2023 by SaharaReporter.

A family source made the development known to SaharaReporter that Akeredolu died in Lagos about the sad incident.

He was managed by State House doctors up to his death because they could not fly him abroad.

“Akeredolu is dead; he died in Lagos at age 67,” the source said.

“They were looking for dialysis machines to be sent to his secret location in Lagos last week.”

The inauguration took place on 3rd September, 2025 at NUJ Press Center , Osogbo . Dr. Peter Olayinka AWOFADEJU was sworn in as the Chairman of the chapel, along with Mr. Oyewole Temitope as Secretary.
