According to the release from his social media handle signed by his media aide, Hon. Alade Samuel Ayodeji, the Chairman Egbedore South LCDA, Honourable Adeleke Adeolu Sakiru wished the residents of Egbedore South Local Government Area a very best in the New Year. He prayed for the year to bring them happiness, health, and prosperity.

The Chairman also reminded everyone in the Egbedore South Local Government to stay committed to their communities and to continue working together towards their shared goals. He urged them to be good neighbors to one another, to take care of their environment, and to support each other in the time of needs.

Hon. Adeleke Adeolu Sakiru said he has plans to bring about notable improvements in the infrastructure, to promote education, enhance healthcare facilities, and endeavor to boost economic opportunities for our citizens. He said he needs unwavering support of his people to achieve these goals. He promised to work tirelessly to ensure that our community continues to grow and thrive.

14th Convocation Ceremony: JABU Graduates 467 Students

 By Olayinka Awofadeju At Joseph Ayo Babalola University Vice Chancellor's press conference held on 4th December, 2023 at the Senate Chamber. Vice Chancellor, Professor Olaosebikan Fakolujo that the University graduated 467 students while 23 finished with first class, 205 finished with second class upper, 172 finished with second class lower and others are within third class to pass. The overall best graduating student for the academic session was Mary Ayobayo from Computer Science. She graduated with 4.89, which is a step better than the last best graduating student who finished with 4.87. While speaking, VC made it known that the school equally graduated 12 PhD students in 2022/2023 academic session. Eight PhD students graduated from the department of Entrepreneurship, three from Business Administration while one graduated from Accounting department.
