Osun Govt. condoles family, Ede people on the demise of Olofa-Ina

The Osun State Government, under the leadership of Senator Ademola Adeleke, has extended its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, the people of Ede land, and the entire Osun State as a whole on the passing of a Veteran Nollywood Actor, Chief Adedeji Aderemi, affectionately known as Olofa Ina who gave up the ghost on Thursday, January 4th, 2024.
A statement released by the Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Honourable Abiodun Bamkole Ojo and signed by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mrs Adebimpe Ogunlumade said, "we understand the pain of losing such a talented and beloved individual, who had undoubtedly touched the lives of many. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of Chief Aderemi as they cope with this immense loss. We hope that you find solace in the memories you shared and draw strength from the legacy he has left behind".
The statement read in part, " It is with deep sorrow that we share in your loss and grief during this difficult time. Your contributions to the entertainment industry, particularly in Yoruba cinema, were highly regarded and will forever be remembered. Your talent and dedication were an inspiration to many upcoming actors and actresses, and you left behind an indelible mark on the cultural landscape of our nation.
"The Honourable Commissioner and the entire, Osun Tourism Board, including all Culture and Tourism sectors in Osun recognizes the immense impact that Chief Aderemi's death has on the community of Ede, and Osun State in general.
"Once again, our deepest condolences go out to the family of Chief Adedeji Aderemi, the people of Ede land, and the entire Osun State community. May his soul rest in perfect peace, and may you find comfort in the memories and love you shared.
