Reasons my caucus worked against Oyetola/APC during Osun Election, Aregbesola explains (Video)

Yesterday, the former governor of Osun State and the immediate past minister of the federal Republic of Nigeria, Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola explained why his caucus (The Osun Progressive) worked against APC and Oyetola's re-election in year 2022.

Rauf Aregbesola said this why addressing his followers in Ilesa that he did nothing against the party in Osun, nor Oyetola before his first election which made him the state governor. He just observed they were brewing hatred against him and peddling rumours to tarnish his personality.

They held meetings on how to resolve the differences between them and agreed on modalities to follow. According to Aregbesola, may be if Oyetola's caucus will carryout were agreed upon now.

Aregbesola said during the 2022 election in Osun State, his followers came to seek his permission to work with Senator Ademola Adeleke and People Democratic Party which he granted them leave since their party in the state neglected them and didn't want to see them. 

While talking, Aregbesola said during the second year of Oyetola's government, Oyetola/APC told him that Osun people didn't want to see him when he wanted to come to celebrate second year in office with Oyetola. During their campaign for the re-election also, it was stated clearly in their announcement on the media that whosoever that was not invited shouldn't come, if he/she comes, whatever he/she suffer is his/her personal problem.

Aregbesola said, he is Omoluabi, a proper Yoruba man. Since he was not invited, and agreement reached to resolve their differences was ignored by Oyetola's caucus, he stayed away from their activities.

Personalities seen at the venue are former Speaker Najeem Salam, Alhaja Adeoti, and lot of very important personalities during Aregbesola's government in Osun State.
