Fellow members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) family, it is with a deep sense of commitment and hope for our beloved state that I address you today.

 Our esteemed Governor has extended a heartfelt call for unity and collaboration among all members, including those who may feel aggrieved. 

We must heed this call and come together as one cohesive family to propel our state forward.

The APC is more than just a political party; it is a family bound by shared values and a collective vision for progress and development. In any family, disagreements, and conflicts are natural, but what sets us apart is our ability to resolve these differences amicably and unite for the greater good. Now, more than ever, we need to embrace this unity.

Our Governor, in his wisdom, has initiated stakeholder meetings to extend hands of fellowship and promote an all-inclusive approach to governance. This is not just a gesture of goodwill but a strategic move to ensure that every voice within our party is heard and valued. By working together, we can chart a purposeful direction for our state’s governance, ensuring that it reflects the aspirations and needs of all our people.

The forthcoming election presents a crucial opportunity for us to demonstrate the strength and resilience of our unity. A divided house cannot stand, and if we allow our differences to fragment us, we risk undermining all that we have worked so hard to achieve. The stakes are high, and the responsibility lies with each one of us to put aside personal grievances and focus on the collective goal of securing a huge victory for our party and, more importantly, for the future of our state.

Supporting our Governor is not just about political loyalty; it is about recognizing the importance of collaborative leadership in achieving transformative impact. Our Governor’s call for unity is a testament to his commitment to inclusive governance. I appeal to all members of the Progressives family to rally behind our Governor. 14th Convocation Ceremony: JABU Graduates 467 Students

 By Olayinka Awofadeju At Joseph Ayo Babalola University Vice Chancellor's press conference held on 4th December, 2023 at the Senate Chamber. Vice Chancellor, Professor Olaosebikan Fakolujo that the University graduated 467 students while 23 finished with first class, 205 finished with second class upper, 172 finished with second class lower and others are within third class to pass. The overall best graduating student for the academic session was Mary Ayobayo from Computer Science. She graduated with 4.89, which is a step better than the last best graduating student who finished with 4.87. While speaking, VC made it known that the school equally graduated 12 PhD students in 2022/2023 academic session. Eight PhD students graduated from the department of Entrepreneurship, three from Business Administration while one graduated from Accounting department.
