Save Our Souls: Irepodun Community Calls on State Government Over Dilapidated Community School Building

Parents and landlords of Irepodun Community and the neighbor communities call on the state government to come to their aid as the only Community Primary School (Irepodun Community Primary School) at Irepodun, after Olojabala, off Osunjela, Osun State serving the community and the neighboring communities has become death trap.
The present condition of the building is very bad as it has become eyes saw. The wall cracked from top to the bottom, the broken ceilings, bushy environment which can be nursing reptiles. All these can be dangerous to the teachers and the pupils attending the school.
The community leaders are pleading to the state government to assist before the building will collapse and course havock. Who knows when this may eventually happens, what if it will be during school hours when both pupils and the teachers will be in the class.
One of the parents who is also member of landlords association within the community, Mr. Aina took Oduduwa media to see the environment where their children are learning, he said the environment is not conducive enough.
Others around said politicians promised them that the school would be renovated as soon as election is over, but it is going to two years now, their children are still learning under the death trap.
They said that if Governor Ademola Adeleke and the ministry in charge of school monitoring and renovation can help them with this, they will be very happy and pay back whenever Osun State government needs them too.
