2024 Farming Season: House of Rep Member Distributes Fertilizers to Farmers

Honourable Bamidele Salam, House of Representative member representing Egbedore, Ede North, Ede South and Ejigbo federal Constituency on Wednesday 28th August, 2024 distributed 600 bags of fertilizers at his house in Awo under Egbedore Local Government to the farmers in his Constituency.

While addressing Oduduwa Media, one of his aids, Hon. Olayiwola Ismail who represented him said Hon. Bamidele Salam specially brought these fertilizers to assist the farmers within his Constituency as this is raining season which farmers will be farming. He said he distributed the fertilizers to everyone either as group or individual farmer. The yardstick is to be a known farmer and not someone who will collect and sell it.

He made it known that they have more than twenty five farmer groups registered and many individuals from all the local governments within his federal Constituency.


Hon. Olayiwola Ismail said "this process is different from the ongoing distribution of farm tools and seeds from the ministry of Agriculture at Osun State Secretariat, that one is from the state government while this is from the federal representative (Hon. Bamidele Salam)."
Among the farmers who benefitted from the distributed fertilizer, Mr. Eweje Segun Rufus and Mr. Hammed Wahab both from Ofatedo and Prime area respectively appreciated Hon. Bamidele Salam and prayed that he will always see helpers of destiny whenever he is in need of one.

14th Convocation Ceremony: JABU Graduates 467 Students

Vice Chancellor, Professor Olaosebikan Fakolujo that the University graduated 467 students while 23 finished with first class, 205 finished with second class upper, 172 finished with second class lower and others are within third class to pass. The overall best graduating student for the academic session was Mary Ayobayo from Computer Science.
