Again, Rep. Salam Announces Free Holiday Classes for Secondary School Students

As part of his unwavering commitment to promoting standard education and empowering young minds, Honourable Bamidele Salam, a member of House of Representative representing Ede North, Ede South, Egbedore, and Ejigbo Federal Constituency of Osun State in the National Assembly, has announced the commencement of free holiday classes for secondary school students during the 2024 summer holidays from August 19 to September 13, 2024.

        Centers for the free summer classes:

The Lawmaker made the announcement in a press statement signed by his Media Assistant, Joshua Afolabi and made available to the newsmen in Osun on 14th August 2024.

The classes, focusing on English Language, Mathematics, Civic Education, and Computer Literacy, aim to engage students meaningfully and promote quality education.

The centers cut across the Ede North, Ede South, Egbedore and Ejigbo federal Constituency and at strategic towns to accommodate every interested persons (students). 

He called on the young adults and youths who are still secondary school students to join the free classes to advance their knowledge in these subjects as they will help them in their studies.

14th Convocation Ceremony: JABU Graduates 467 Students

 By Olayinka Awofadeju At Joseph Ayo Babalola University Vice Chancellor's press conference held on 4th December, 2023 at the Senate Chamber. Vice Chancellor, Professor Olaosebikan Fakolujo that the University graduated 467 students while 23 finished with first class, 205 finished with second class upper, 172 finished with second class lower and others are within third class to pass. The overall best graduating student for the academic session was Mary Ayobayo from Computer Science. She graduated with 4.89, which is a step better than the last best graduating student who finished with 4.87. While speaking, VC made it known that the school equally graduated 12 PhD students in 2022/2023 academic session.
