Efon-Alaaye College of Management and Technology gets NBTE Nod to Commence New Programmes

Efon- Alaaye College of Management and Technology, Ekiti State has received the Nod of the National Board for Technical Education, (NBTE), Kaduna to mount  and commence new programmes with effect from September , 2024/2025 Academic Session.

This release was signed by the Rector of the institution, Otun Oladimeji Simon Pinheiro, PhD. He said, according to the approval letter conveyed to the institution dated 6th July, 2024 with reference Number C/TEB 467/VOL VII/ 59 personally signed by the Executive Secretary of the Board , Prof. Idris M. Buggaje stated " l refer to the application and subsequent Approval / Resource Inspection visits to Efon Alaaye College of Management and Technology , Efon Alaaye Ekiti State . l hereby convey the approval of the Honorable Minister of Education to establish the institution in line with the provision of Act CAP E3 LPD, 2004 with effect from 6th July, 2024."

The executive Secretary affirmed that Board has approved the interim accreditation for the following academic programmes and the corresponding number of streams for the take off of the institution, haven passed the institution administration accreditation . The institution can commence admission of students into National Diploma programmes in Accountancy, and Business Administration and Management with effect from 2024/2025 Academic Session.

14th Convocation Ceremony: JABU Graduates 467 Students

 By Olayinka Awofadeju At Joseph Ayo Babalola University Vice Chancellor's press conference held on 4th December, 2023 at the Senate Chamber. Vice Chancellor, Professor Olaosebikan Fakolujo that the University graduated 467 students while 23 finished with first class, 205 finished with second class upper, 172 finished with second class lower and others are within third class to pass. The overall best graduating student for the academic session was Mary Ayobayo from Computer Science. She graduated with 4.89, which is a step better than the last best graduating student who finished with 4.87. While speaking, VC made it known that the school equally graduated 12 PhD students in 2022/2023 academic session. Eight PhD students graduated from the department of Entrepreneurship, three from Business Administration while one graduated from Accounting department.
