Gov. Adeleke Receives Thousands of APC, ADP Decampees to PDP

On Monday 23rd September, 2024, at Awo town, Gov. Ademola Adeleke who was ably represented by his deputy, Mr. Kola Adewusi received thousands of APC and ADP Decampees particularly from Ara and Okinni and other towns within Egbedore local government in a grand style into People's Democratic Party.

PDP state Chairman, Hon. Sunday Bisi received the Decampees into the party and handedover the PDP flag to their representatives from each towns after open declaration of their intentions to join People's Democratic Party.

While addressing the Decampees, deputy governor, Mr. Kola Adewusi urged members to woo their friends, family and neighbors to join the party. He emphasized it that many only needs small persuasion before taking steps. He further counseled the stakeholders to accommodate the Decampees and always resolve issues amicable within the party.

He said make your grievance known to you leaders at the ward level, if it can't be resolved at the ward level, office of the state party chairman is always opened.

Declaring their intentions, the leaders of the Decampees mentioned many developments enjoyed under government of Peoples' Democratic Party which were not available under APC government. Hon. Rasheed Oyedeji, former Chairman of APC in ward 9, Aro said all the development from Grammar School, electricity and bore hole water they are presently drinking were done by PDP.

Among the leaders of the Decampees are Hon. Faniran Damilare from ADP, Hon. Taiwo Ogunsola, former APC local exco member, Hon. Sunday Atoyeje, a.k.a Authentic Chairman. He was the former APC chairman. Mr. Isaac Ogundoye, the APC councillorship candidate and ward exco member, Hon. Rasheed Oyedeji from APC ward 9, and Mr. Adedoyin Adekun Musekim from APC, Ido-Osun.
