2025 Osun LG Election: Let Good Works Continue - Hon. Sanya Okunade

In the history of Egbedore local government and performance of all the past Chairmen that have coordinated the affairs of the Council, and the towns under Egbedore local government, Chairmen from People's Democratic Party had transformed better the local government compared to others from APC.

Voting for Hon. Sanya Okunade, A.K.A 'Olori' under the umbrella of People's Democratic Party will further strengthen the foundation laid by his predecessors from the People's Democratic Party like Hon. Bamidele Salam at the council which he also worked on when he was the caretaker council Chairman under the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke.

While speaking with Oduduwa Media, Hon. Sanya Okunade pledged to lead an all-inclusive government that will leave no community or person behind in Egbedore Local Government. His vision is to work collaboratively with everyone to drive development in the area.

As a seasoned politician, Hon. Okunade has experience in governance, having served as the caretaker chairman of Egbedore Local Government. During his tenure, he achieved notable milestones, including:

- Infrastructure Development: Renovation and furnishing of offices, acquisition of 2 acres of land for developmental purposes, and extension of electricity to Baptist Grammar School Ara.

- Economic Empowerment: Distribution of seedlings and cash prizes to local farmers, and repair of long-unused grader and tractors to enhance the local government's Internally Generated Revenue (IGR).

- Social Welfare: Provision of palliatives to victims of the Ifon/Ilobu crisis, renovation of maternity centers in Iwoye and Ikotun, and provision in of boreholes across all wards.

- Education: Sponsorship of JAMB CBT training for prospective candidates from Egbedore Local Government.

Hon. Sanya Okunade promised to build better structure on the good foundation laid already in Egbedore local government if he can be voted for come February 2025. He therefore urged everyone to cast their votes for PDP for better tomorrow, competence, transparency, love of people and passionate leader. They should not allow partisan politic to divide us to our votes for enemies of the people, who only care about their fat bank accounts and their family members at the expense of the people of the local government and it development. 

He there urged people to let the good works continue and to start sharing the good news of what PDP has been doing at the state to the electorates in Egbedore local government for them to cast their votes for Hon. Sanya Okunade under the umbrella of People's Democratic Party for even development at the local government.

14th Convocation Ceremony: JABU Graduates 467 Students

 By Olayinka Awofadeju At Joseph Ayo Babalola University Vice Chancellor's press conference held on 4th December, 2023 at the Senate Chamber. Vice Chancellor, Professor Olaosebikan Fakolujo that the University graduated 467 students while 23 finished with first class, 205 finished with second class upper, 172 finished with second class lower and others are within third class to pass. The overall best graduating student for the academic session was Mary Ayobayo from Computer Science. She graduated with 4.89, which is a step better than the last best graduating student who finished with 4.87.
