I remain committed to promotion of Yoruba culture, says Gov. Adeleke

Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has again reechoed his unwavering commitment and dedication to promote and build a virile Yoruba culture that will become a reference point among its equals in the world.
The Governor gave the assurance during the year 2024 Sango Timi Festival which was held in Ede, Osun State.
Senator Adeleke, who was represented by the Commissioner for culture and Tourism, Hon. Bankole Ojo, congratulated the sons and daughters together with the traditional ruler of the ancient town, Oba Munirudeen Adesola Lawal, for witnessing this year's Sango Timi Festival. He thanked them for being a pillar of support to his administration, emphasising that this has greatly contributed to his numerous achievements in the State.
The State helmsman therefore assured residents of Osun that he will never relent in his efforts at giving them more dividends of democracy that will make life more comfortable for them.
In his remarks, the Timi of Edeland, Oba Munirudeen Adesola Lawal, appreciated the present administration in Osun under the leadership of Governor Ademola Adeleke for the special attention accorded to the Yoruba culture, noting that it has tremendously aided its growth and development.
While he prayed God to grant the Governor more successes in his endeavours, Oba Lawal enjoined the people of Edeland to continue to cooperate with the present administration in its bid to making Osun attain a greater height.
Speaking with newsmen, Hon. Biyi Odunlade and Chairman, Osun State Tourism Board, Mr. Taiwo Adeleke, stressed that Governor Adeleke will always do everything humanly possible to sustain the Yoruba cultural values and norms, and as well give the desired facelift to the state tourism sites, assuring that he will never let his people down.
The programme, which featured many cultural presentations, was graced by the managements and staff of Osun State Ministry of Culture and Tourism led by the Permanent Secretary, Miss Adegbemisola Fayoyin, Osun State Tourism Board led by the General Manager, Mrs Oluwatoyin Ajayi, as well as the Osun State Council for Arts and Culture led by its Executive Secretary Mrs Solape Abolarin.
