........Emphasis on Professionalism and Governor Adeleke’s Second-Term Agenda


On Monday, Hon. Sanya Okunade met with his media team at his campaign office to discuss strategies for the chairmanship election and to support Governor Ademola Adeleke’s second-term bid.

He encouraged the team to work professionally and selflessly,

emphasizing that their efforts should not be motivated by personal gains but by a shared commitment to success. Hon. Okunade reminded them that this platform is an opportunity to establish their own political relevance.

Hon. Okunade outlined his five-point agenda, which includes:

Empowerment and Employment:

 Creating opportunities for both youths and adults.

Education:

 Renovating schools, constructing classrooms, and training teachers.

Healthcare:

Improving staffing and infrastructure in health centers.

Agriculture:

Establishing farm settlements and supporting farmers to boost food production.

Infrastructural Development:  Constant grading of feeder roads and enhancing community access.

He outlined the media team's responsibilities:

Developing communication strategies.

Managing the campaign’s brand.

Handling crisis management.

Hon. Okunade urged the team to work cohesively, focus on their objectives, and contribute to the overall success of the campaign and Governor Adeleke’s second-term project.

14th Convocation Ceremony: JABU Graduates 467 Students

 By Olayinka Awofadeju At Joseph Ayo Babalola University Vice Chancellor's press conference held on 4th December, 2023 at the Senate Chamber. Vice Chancellor, Professor Olaosebikan Fakolujo that the University graduated 467 students while 23 finished with first class, 205 finished with second class upper, 172 finished with second class lower and others are within third class to pass. The overall best graduating student for the academic session was Mary Ayobayo from Computer Science. She graduated with 4.89, which is a step better than the last best graduating student who finished with 4.87. While speaking, VC made it known that the school equally graduated 12 PhD students in 2022/2023 academic session. Eight PhD students graduated from the department of Entrepreneurship, three from Business Administration while one graduated from Accounting department.
