Osun LG Poll: Egbedore PDP Inaugurates Campaign Committee For Party Candidate, Hon Sanya Okunade

Leaders, critical Stakeholders and members of the Peoples Democratic Party in Egbedore local government earlier today came together to formerly inaugurate central campaign committee for the local government election slated for February, 2025.

The meeting which came up at Awo, headquarters Egbedore local government, saw Hon Sakiru Adeleke unveiled as the Director General of the campaign committee in the local government while some other stakeholders were also named as chairmen and members of other committees set up for the campaign.

Contact and mobilization Committee 

Hon Sheriff Adewuyi - Inter-Party Affairs Committee,

Barrister Jimoh Akintayo - Finance Committee

Hon Sunday Ogunbayo-

Security And Intelligence Committee 

Alhaji Ibraheem Adebayo

Election Strategy Committee 

Hon Hezekiah Oladele Bamiji (HOB) Media and Publicity Committee. They were inaugurated with members of respective committees. 

Mama Atinuke Oyawoye, Pa Joseph Adeleke, the state woman leader, Mrs Mary Otunla alongside the local government party chairman, Alhaji Sulaiman Adebayo charged members of the campaign committees to be dutiful in the responsibilities assigned to them, not just as privileged members of the committees, but as people held in trust to bring about positive impacts by the larger society. 

The leaders all expressed confidence in Hon Sanya Okunade's commitment to better the lot of the good people of Egbedore Local Government, thereby complementing the wonderful performance in office so far by His Excellency, Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke 

The Egbedore local government PDP chairmanship candidate, Hon Sanya Okunade, who commended leaders of the party for bringing their experience to bear on the composition of the campaign committee, pledged his readiness to expand frontiers of development in the local government when elected come February, 2025

The inauguration of the campaign committee was preceeded by an inter-faith prayer session, where both Christian and Islamic clerics offered prayers for the success of the project 

Political functionaries led by Senator Lere Oyewumi and Representative Bamidele Salam were commended at the meeting for their staunch supports for Hon Sanya Okunade chairmanship project, with a promise not to let them down in the final outcome of the election come February 22, 2025.

14th Convocation Ceremony: JABU Graduates 467 Students

 By Olayinka Awofadeju At Joseph Ayo Babalola University Vice Chancellor's press conference held on 4th December, 2023 at the Senate Chamber. Vice Chancellor, Professor Olaosebikan Fakolujo that the University graduated 467 students while 23 finished with first class, 205 finished with second class upper, 172 finished with second class lower and others are within third class to pass. The overall best graduating student for the academic session was Mary Ayobayo from Computer Science. She graduated with 4.89, which is a step better than the last best graduating student who finished with 4.87. While speaking, VC made it known that the school equally graduated 12 PhD students in 2022/2023 academic session.
