Hon. Okunade Adesanya, the Chairmanship Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Egbedore Local Government, today paid a courtesy visit to the Nigeria Union of Pensioners (NUP), Egbedore Chapter.  

The meeting was graced by pensioners at federal, state, and local levels, alongside prominent PDP leaders in Egbedore Local Government.

In his remarks, Hon. Okunade Adesanya called for unity among contributory and old pensioners, assuring them of his commitment to their welfare. 

 He highlighted empowerment and employment as key aspects of his agenda, particularly targeting youth development.

14th Convocation Ceremony: JABU Graduates 467 Students

 By Olayinka Awofadeju At Joseph Ayo Babalola University Vice Chancellor's press conference held on 4th December, 2023 at the Senate Chamber. Vice Chancellor, Professor Olaosebikan Fakolujo that the University graduated 467 students while 23 finished with first class, 205 finished with second class upper, 172 finished with second class lower and others are within third class to pass. The overall best graduating student for the academic session was Mary Ayobayo from Computer Science. She graduated with 4.89, which is a step better than the last best graduating student who finished with 4.87. While speaking, VC made it known that the school equally graduated 12 PhD students in 2022/2023 academic session. Eight PhD students graduated from the department of Entrepreneurship, three from Business Administration while one graduated from Accounting department.
