Asiwaju Olajubu Reiterates Service to Humanity and Community Development as he becomes Sukoti of Ilare

The newly installed Sukoti of Ilare, Asiwaju Oyedeji Olajubu kjw has reiterated his commitment to the service of humanity and community development, just as he was installed as the new Sukoti of Ilare by His Royal Majesty, Oba Adejoro Otebolaku, Ogidan III, Olori Elu Eka-Osun on Sunday 15th December.
Chief Olajubu who was known for his remarkable contributions to the development of Ilare community said "I know that my coming on board to join the Owalare in-Council is a call to service, it is a call for me to further my service to Ilare and the entire citizenry. Service to humanity is my hobby, it is what I am destined to do, I will not relent in doing it. It is my wish to join hands with members of the Owalare in -Council to rebuild the town, Owalare is blessed with an array of chiefs who are intellectually enriched. My coming on board will steer further service to develop Ilare community", he noted.
It would be recalled that Chief Oyedeji Olajubu, a COREN Registered Engineer had earlier made his impacts in service to the community; he single handedly built a Post Office in the town, extended the Building of the Methodist Church Ilare, renovated the palace, sunk about six bore holes in various quarters of the town and sponsored some indigent students in various schools.
The new Sukoti is the immediate past President of Ilare Development Association.
The Sukoti chieftaincy became vacant about ten years ago after the demise of patriarch of the Sukoti dynasty, Ilare, Professor Oludare Olajubu, renowned Professor of Yoruba Oral Literature, Culture and Tradition.
The new Sukoti a philanthropist per excellent, is a foremost engineer, industrialist, hotelier and business mogul.
While admonishing the new Sukoti after the official traditional rite by the Odofin-Olumose of Ilare, High Chief, Victor Busayo Adeniji, the High Chief Ejemu Olufemi Ogungbemi who saluted his courage and willingness to take the chieftaincy urged him not to to relent in his service to better the lives of the. He enjoined the Sukoti to ensure that he sustain the legacy of his father in the palace. He noted that absolute loyalty to Kabiyesi Owalare was necessary sacrosanct in the palace, nothing that members of the council work in unity, irrespective of the individual social status interest.
