BOI Five Million Naira Loan: Gov. Adeleke Promises Beneficiaries of Osun State Skill Upgrade and Entrepreneurship Development Training

Bank of Industry (BOI) led by Mrs. Adeoti stated that beneficiaries of Skill Upgrade and Enterpreneurship Development Training Programme of Osun State government held at Skill Acquisition Center, Iragbiji, Osun State between 25th November to 13th December, 2024 must register their businesses with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), link TIN number, NIMC and BVN while registering their business with CAC.

The loan which is between one million naira to five million naira through the scheme from BOI which is payable within three years and with the interest of nine percent in all. At the programme, Honourable Commissioner, Samuel Atanda Jenyo who represented Governor Ademola Adeleke appreciated all the beneficiaries of this year skill acquisition training and congratulated them for the available loan scheme.

He said the beneficiaries were from different parts of Osun State without using politics to select them. 

He further said, initially the ministry of Commerce and Industry promised the beneficiaries N50,000 each after the training, but with the help of Bank of Industry, there is additional money between one million to five million naira for each person who is interested as loan which must be paid back within the space of three years.

The requirements as mentioned by the staff of the BOI are mandatory for anyone who is interested to boost his/her businesses.

To make it easier for the beneficiaries, Honourable Commissioner said from Monday, an office will be opened within the Ministry of Commerce and Industry where beneficiaries will be assisted to register online for those who will not be able to register by themselves.

He delivered Governor's greeting and wishes all the beneficiaries well.

In attendance are Hon. Samuel Atanda Jenyo, the Honourable Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Ag. Permanent Secretary, Mr. Tajudeen Adigun, Director of finance/Account, Mr. Johnson Awotide, Director Admin and Supplies, Mr. Simeon Omoniyi and Director planning and Research, Mr. Semiu Olajide.
