Osun LG Poll: Ilesa West Ward 5 Holds Campaign Mega Rally

On Sunday 29th December, 2024, Ilesa West Ward 5 held their local government election campaign Mega Rally at Isokun garage.

Many APC members from different wards decamped into People's Democratic Party, part of why they took the decision was the wonderful performance of Governor Ademola Adeleke and all the political appointees within the state and those representing the state at the federal level.

Hon. Diti Aluko, the Chairmanship Candidate for Ilesa west local government received the decampees and handed the party flag to them while receiving them into the party.

Hon. Diti Aluko urged other APC members who are shy of decamping openly to quickly make their intention known as there will not be any APC in Osun State before the end of Governor Adeleke's first term in office.

He spoke confidently that PDP will win the next governorship election in Osun State in year 2026.

He said to the new entrants that in PDP, everyone has the same right and opportunities, the work of each will speak for him/her. He urged them to work assiduously for the success of local government election and second term of Governor Ademola Adeleke come 2026.

He said the rally coincided with the installation of new Owa Obokun Adimula of Ilesa, Oba Clement Adesuyi Haastrup who received staff of office, this shows that this rally will produce positive change in Ilesa West Local Government.

Osun Poly rolls out Admission Application Form for 2024/2025 Daily Part-Time Programme

By Oduduwa Media  Management of Osun State Polytechnic Iree has rolled out its Admission Application Form for the 2024/2025 Academic Session for the Daily Part-Time Programme. The Admission Form is sold for a sum of Twenty Thousand Naira (N20,000) only. Interested applicants are to log on to ospolyportal.com to purchase the form. Such applicants, according to a release by the Institution's Registrar Mr Abiodun Oloyede, must possess credit passes in English Language, Mathematics and three other relevant subjects in the applicants’ areas of study in Science, Engineering, Information and Communication Technology, Environmental Studies, Industrial Arts and Design, Financial Studies and Management Studies.
