Osun NUJ: Federated Chapel Inaugurates Credentials Committee

In a bold step towards a free and fair electoral process, the Chairperson of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) Federated Chapel, Osun State Council, Mrs Kikelomo Owoeye inaugurated the Credentials Committee. The move came after the Congress held recently and adopted by the congressmen.
The newly appointed Credentials Committee, task includes overseeing conduct of the forthcoming chapel election has directed by the NUJ Osun State Council.
The Credential Committee will be headed by Dr. Pinheiro Oladimeji, a seasoned Communication Scholar and Senior Lecturer in the Department of Mass Communication at Westland Polytechnic ,Ilobu Osun State. Other members of the Committee are Pastor Sam Segun Progress, SSA to the Senate President on Media Matters and Mr. MacDonald Oladipo, the Publisher, The Source Newspaper.
The Chairperson of the chapel urged the committee members to ensure a transparent and credible election.
She encouraged all members to support the committee in carrying out its duties.
Owoeye further reminded chapel members of the importance of paying the outstanding dues of N25,000, as a vital contribution towards the union’s continuous growth.
Owoeye emphasized that any concerns or advice on the electoral process should now be directed to the Credentials Committee.
