Chief Pinheiro Resigns from People's Democratic Party

Otunba Oladimeji Pinheiro, PhD, released his resignation letter from the People's Democratic Party, PDP, Ward 06, Imesi-Ile, Obokun local government, Osun State which took effect from 4th May, 2025.
His decision according to him are internal politicking, and intrigues ahead of next general election, personal interest and power play which has become order of the day without no hope of amicably resolution. He said he was convinced that the party has lost control of its direction and philosophy of the establishment which has made the internal political rancor more worsen which he presumed that the leadership of the party has failed to handle with utmost expected actions.
He said "I am convinced the purpose of staying with the party that I have labored with and contributed my quota to the progress so far for over a decade is lost. To remain with such Political Institution can jeopardize my future political sojourn".
He thanked the leaders for the opportunity given to him to exercise his political interest and participations over the years and the relationship he had built over the years as a card carrying member of the party. He said the memories and lessons learned over the years will always be cherished.
