BSST Central Working Committee Holds Strategic Meeting ahead of National President’s Visit to Osun

The press release signed by Hon. Moshood T. Opeyemi, BSST Osun State Coordinator, released by Comrade Ojo Ekundayo Samuel, BSST Osun State Assistant PRO today Friday 20th June, 2025.
The Central Working Committee of the Bukola Saraki Strategy Team (BSST) convened today to evaluate the platform’s progress and to strategize ahead of the scheduled visit of the National President, Comrade Rasaq Olarewaju Abata, to Osun State.
During the meeting, the Osun State Coordinator of BSST, Hon. Moshood T. Opeyemi—a prominent human rights activist and political leader—reaffirmed his strong commitment to the re-election of Governor Ademola Adeleke, describing the governor’s leadership as people-focused and development-driven.
“If Governor Ademola Adeleke’s re-election demands the last drop of my blood, I am ready to make that sacrifice,” Hon. Opeyemi stated with conviction.
He further declared that the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) lacks both the leadership and credibility to challenge the incumbent. “The APC is like an empty drum—making noise in a desperate attempt to distract a working government. The people of Osun have rejected them outright,” he added.
The meeting concluded with a renewed pledge by BSST members to strengthen grassroots structures and ensure a successful reception for the National President’s visit. BSST continues to stand firm in its support for Governor Adeleke’s administration and his second-term bid.
