GOVERNOR ADEMOLA ADELEKE REMAINS IN PDP

Osun State Bukola Saraki Strategy Team delegates led by the deputy State Coordinator, Hon. AWOFADEJU Peter Olayinka, PhD in company of the BSST women Coordinator, Hon. Mrs. Ojo Adenike and Osun Central Coordinator, Hon. Adeyemi Kehinde held meeting with Osun State People's Democratic Party leadership concerning the defection rumors about Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke.

The meeting held at the Osun State PDP Secretariat, Biket junction on Monday 28th July, 2025.

While speaking, Alhaji Mustapha Sikiru Muhammed, the PDP State Director of Administration maintained that Governor Ademola Adeleke remains in PDP. 

He confirmed the force from president Tinubu who wanted Governor Ademola Adeleke to decamp into APC for him to gain full Southwest support to win 2027 election due to coalition and gang up of northern part of the country against his second term bid, but governor Adeleke was blocked by the Osun State APC members from joining.

This development made Governor Ademola Adeleke and the whole Osun State PDP later endorsed President Tinubu for president comes 2027 general election to have peace of mind to govern Osun people.

While narrating the threat from the presidency, Osun State local government funds for months running into billions was seized, Adeleke family business was threatened and many more. This has affected employment and slows down developmental project within Osun State.

Yet, he claimed governor Adeleke has been paying the local government staff since federal government withheld the funds.

He referred to defecting senators and House of Representative members as greedy set of people, he made it clear that their exit from PDP has opened opportunities for others to be recognized and to replace them within the party.

He later promised BSST of collaboration for the grassroot mobilization, he promised to carry the executive of BSST along when the line up of programmes leading to 2026 Governorship election is out.

He finally sent his greetings to Dr. Bukola Saraki, BSST State Coordinator and all the members in Osun State.

Osun Poly rolls out Admission Application Form for 2024/2025 Daily Part-Time Programme

By Oduduwa Media  Management of Osun State Polytechnic Iree has rolled out its Admission Application Form for the 2024/2025 Academic Session for the Daily Part-Time Programme. The Admission Form is sold for a sum of Twenty Thousand Naira (N20,000) only. Interested applicants are to log on to ospolyportal.com to purchase the form. Such applicants, according to a release by the Institution's Registrar Mr Abiodun Oloyede, must possess credit passes in English Language, Mathematics and three other relevant subjects in the applicants’ areas of study in Science, Engineering, Information and Communication Technology, Environmental Studies, Industrial Arts and Design, Financial Studies and Management Studies.

Chief Pinheiro Resigns from People's Democratic Party
