CGS Old Students' Association Holds Inauguration of Newly Executive
The Community Grammar School Old Students' Association, Ring-Road held the inauguration of their newly elected executive together with yearly get-together party at thee school auditorium hall on Saturday 27th December, 2025.
The programme which commenced at exactly 10:00am with large turn out of old students from 1985 to 2024. The members were glad to meet again after so many years back and to know other sets.
Mr. Olusegun Asaolu implored members to pay their dues regularly to achieve a mile stone achievement during his tenure as president. He promised if members are faithful in the payment of their dues, each member celebrating will be supported with the token of N20,000 to support from his cabinet.
He further gave his words to embark on the construction of the laboratory building in collaboration with the founding day celebration, this is in alignment in giving back to the school. He promised to pre present all the Old Students Association well in every area.
He also commended the INEC Chairman, Peter Olayinka AWOFADEJU, PhD and his secretary Mr. Tosin Imohiosen for the free and fair election conducted which brought him and his executive members to office.
Mrs. Ayanleke O. O., the present school principal appreciated the past executives for their contribution so far which has transformed the school to what it is today. She then congratulated the newly inaugurated executive, she implored them to lead with vision, passion and serve with humility. She further advised that they should make Mark as the school future is in their hands.
Present at the inauguration are Professor Olowu, Mr. Otule, the outgone president, Barrister Kehinde Olawumi and 1985 set to 2024 set.
The get-together was a real fun for all that attended.
