Open letter to Governor Ademola Adeleke

 By Olayinka Awofadeju

Mr. Governor Sir, campaign time is just at the corner, Osun people are waiting like to know who to follow. Leaders of various parties are preparing to engage the masses to plead for their votes and while some have even started engaging the masses.

Sir, many members with many followers are decamping these days, which some of them said it was effect of work without proper reward which is reducing our population gradually.

When a leader leaves the party, some will call him/her paper weight politicians. Now, opposition are getting stronger day by day and we are seeing nothing wrong in it. We need to reconcile with the aggrieved members so as to be stronger than before, remember that politics is a game of numbers.

My governor Sir, at this time, kindly lias with the leaders of the party at all levels, success or failure of the governor and the party is in the hands of the party leaders. How responsible are they to the members count in this coming election, people will not want to repeat sad experience and vice versa if the experience is good. Leaders should have listening ears.

Those youths that used their time and resources in 2018 and 2022 were they rewarded in any way? Employment or empowerment, which one did they benefit from? Can these same set of youths commit themselves to the task

again for the same set of leaders and party?

My governor Sir, I wrote an article last year commending all your works, yet I stated it clearly that employment was the only thing for your administration to complete the task. Youths which takes larger percentage of the whole population of Osun State are not happy with the way the issue of employment is taken.

Sir, you have pronounced it openly that employment letter should be issued out to all the qualified candidates, same with regularization of contract staff at OSBC. Sir, kindly follow all these your pronouncement up till they are carried out.

Pronouncing promises and not carried out is giving opposition points against your administration and the party. These days when you give a promise, on social media and in communities, youths would say audio promise and truly, the promise will not be carried out.

Sir, effort of many die hard members should not be wasted, how can they be happy that they ever work hard for the party, if not to win this coming election. Kindly visit all points raised in some of my articles, oppositions are using our weaknesses against us.

My governor Sir, to assure you, Osun people still love you, you have performed wonderfully better than all your predecessors, but crown it up by employing youths to various vacant positions.

As hard as this may sound to your hearing, project is not a must to be completed only at the first term, suspend road and Bridges for now, complete the employment process you have started. It is also a project on its own.

Sir, opposition are asking the question that what's the difference between Oyetola that employee after loosing election to you and you that has not issued employment letter months to the election.

I know that my governor has mind of effecting change, kindly be fast about it Sir.
