Gunmen Attacks Obi, Ogigie-Oyegun, ADC Chieftains in Edo

Peter Obi and the Africa Democratic Congress leaders on visit to Edo at the formal declaration of Olumide Akpata into the African Democratic Congress were attacked by armed thugs.

This was disclosed by Obi’s former campaign spokesman and National Coordinator of the Obidient Movement Worldwide, Dr. Yunusa Tanko, in a statement issued in Abuja. 

"Immediately the ADC leaders with 2023 Presidential Candidate under Labour party, Peter Obi left the ADC State Secretariat to the residence of Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, the political armed thugs had followed. 

The armed thugs were ready to kill everyone if not that the gate was quickly locked against them before DSS personnel started retaliating. The gate of the estate was riddled with bullets and the glasses of the various cars broken with bullets.

 The wounded persons have been rushed to the nearest hospital for treatment '.

Osun NUJ Inaugurates Exco for Federated Chapel

The inauguration took place on 3rd September, 2025 at NUJ Press Center , Osogbo . Dr. Peter Olayinka AWOFADEJU was sworn in as the Chairman of the chapel, along with Mr. Oyewole Temitope as Secretary.
