NUJ OSUN COUNCIL CONGRATULATES OONI ADEYEYE OGUNWUSI ON THE LAUNCH OF OJAJA SOFT DRINKS

The Nigeria Union of Journalists, Osun State Council warmly congratulates His Imperial Majesty, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, the Ooni of Ife and Permanent Chairman of the Southern Nigeria Traditional Rulers Council, on the successful unveiling of OJAJA Soft Drinks.

The Council describes the milestone as a remarkable demonstration of visionary leadership, enterprise, and unwavering commitment to the promotion of indigenous innovation and economic self-reliance.

Bandits on Monday night invaded Ora Igbomina in Ifedayo Local Government Area of Osun State , unleashing terror on residents and travellers in the community.  The attackers reportedly stormed Akisa Road in Ora, where they kidnapped a former Customs officer, Prince Owolabi , from his residence.  The invasion threw the town into panic as gunshots rang out during the operation. Chief Pinheiro Resigns from People's Democratic Party

Osun NUJ Inaugurates Exco for Federated Chapel

 By Seun Omidiran  The Osun State Council of Nigeria Union of Journalists has inaugurated the new executive for Federated Chapel of the state . The inauguration took place on 3rd September, 2025 at NUJ Press Center , Osogbo . Dr. Peter Olayinka AWOFADEJU was sworn in as the Chairman of the chapel, along with Mr. Oyewole Temitope as Secretary. While inaugurating the new Exco members, the Council Secretary declared that, "as directed by the state council due to the prevailing circumstances surrounding the change of power in the chapel, only the Chairman, Dr. Peter Olayinka AWOFADEJU and the Secretary, Mr. Oyewole Temitope obtained nomination forms to their offices since about eight months ago when the outgone exco had been desolved and the NUJECO credentials committee headed by Dr. Simon Oladimeji Pinheiro was put in place."
