O-SAMA Honours Former Executive Secretaries, Says Their Legacy Is Worthy of Emulation

The Osun State Asset Management Agency (O-SAMA) has celebrated two of its former Executive Secretaries, Alhaji Lukman Adedeji and Alhaji Oyesiku Adelu, describing their service to the agency as exemplary and worthy of emulation.

The celebration, which was organised under the leadership of the Special Adviser to the Executive Governor of Osun State on Asset Management, Hon. Mrs. Fausat Sarumi-Adebanjo, to honour the invaluable contributions of the retired officials to the growth and stability of the agency.

Alhaji Lukman Adedeji, who retired from the agency three years ago, and his immediate successor, Alhaji Oyesiku Adelu, who retired few weeks ago, were commended for their dedication, discipline and commitment, which significantly strengthened the operational capacity of O-SAMA.

Speaking at the event, Hon. Mrs. Sarumi-Adebanjo expressed deep appreciation for the humility, wisdom and leadership qualities displayed by the two former Executive Secretaries during their tenure as chief executives of the agency. She noted that their service laid a solid foundation for the progress recorded so far.

According to her, unity, commitment and selfless service remain critical to the success of any organisation, stressing that the character and work ethic exhibited by the two former Executive Secretaries should serve as a model for others in public service. She urged them to continue to uphold their good values as they move into a new phase of life.

In their separate remarks, Alhaji Adedeji and Alhaji Adelu thanked Almighty Allah for granting them the grace to begin well and end well in service. They also appreciated Hon. Mrs. Sarumi-Adebanjo for the opportunity to serve with love and humility, while commending members of staff for their cooperation, which they said contributed to the successes recorded.

The newly appointed Executive Secretary of the agency, Mr. Adedeji Oyelade, thanked all those who came to honour the celebrants, describing the occasion as a testament to their impact and goodwill. He prayed that joy would never cease in the lives of all present and encouraged staff members to emulate the faithfulness and integrity of the honourees.

In their various reactions, staff members, well-wishers and clergymen present at the event noted that the former Executive Secretaries would be greatly missed. They offered prayers for divine guidance and protection for them as they embark on the next chapter of their lives.
