Osun Politics: Gov. Adeleke Has Performed More Than Three Terms Governor, Deserves Second Term

 

With the efforts of the opposition parties to oust Governor Ademola Adeleke out of office come August 8th, 2026, his outstanding performance has rubbished their efforts.

Leading opposition party in Osun State, All Progressive Congress kicked starts their grass root mobilization, framing negative sides of the incumbent governor to change minds of the electorates. As memory of their twelve years in office still fresh, people of Osun State vowed never to return APC back to the state. Memory of half salaries, promotion without money, stagnation in service, using of thugs against students, retirees and abuse of power, abandon projects.

Sampling the opinions of the masses across the state shows that Governor Ademola Adeleke will surely return as the governor of Osun State. Part of what the masses said are the provision of drinking water to remote villages (rural) which for twelve years of APC things like this was not done, Adeleke dug 332 boreholes and provided 332 generators to power the pumping machines in the year 2023.

Provision of transformers and electrification for the affected communities, many communities were in darkness for many years which former governments turned their blind eyes to, but as soon as Governor Ademola Adeleke emerged as Osun State governor, he restored light to may of the areas in darkness.

Another development brought to Osun State which gives Osun a facelift is several dualized roads and bridges to all the senatorial districts in Osun State. The dualized road in Ilesa, Ile-Ife, Ila, Iwo, Osogbo to Kwara boundary, Ede to Ofatedo etc. Governor Ademola Adeleke is opened to all the communities and opening all the senatorial districts for business opportunities and development.

Security in Osun State is rated by the masses as the best in the country. Almost all the states controlled by the All Progressive Congress are facing the challenge of insecurity, even as APC incapacitated Osun State Amotekun, peace is still in existence. If not, loads of insecurity in Ondo and Kwara States would have been extended to Osun State.

Lastly, the issue of employment which has been lingering and many personalities has been attacking the governor for, the coast is cleared now over that. A total of one thousand teachers is to be issued appointment letters to resume anytime from now. Normal official processing is delaying the letter. Governor Adeleke has promised fairness in the selection of the teachers to be appointed.

When the masses looked at these massive performances from Governor Ademola Adeleke, they concluded that he has done work for three terms in one term. One good term deserve another, with this, masses in Osun State collectively agreed to return Governor Ademola Adeleke for the second term for more progress to come to the state. Apart from the locals that adopted Governor Ademola Adeleke’s second term, Osun State Cooperative, NUT, Osun Assembly, Osun Workers, Osun State PDP and their lawmakers, Accord Party, and many opposition leaders adopted Governor Ademola Adeleke’s second term.

Voting against Governor Ademola Adeleke shows how evil any electorate could be with all these development seen. Deaf can see and blind can hear Governor Adeleke’s good work. Returning APC to Osun State because of money or a congo of rice is just like signing poverty and retrogression back to the state. Come August 8th, 2026, every electorate should come out in mass to return good governor, Mr. talk and do back to office to bring the development to your own community too.
