Osun Guber: For Victory at the Poll, There Must be Chain of Command - Dr. Awofadeju

In the word of Dr. Peter Olayinka AWOFADEJU, a strong member of ACORD party in Wars 5, Ilesa West, Osun State and a university lecturer said "for there to be eventual victory at the Poll, there must be chain of commands.

He said to evaluate the victory, each leader at each local government must be saddled with the responsibility of winning his/her local government and which he must give update monthly on possibility of winning and an update after the poll.

The leaders at the local government will also charge leaders at each Ward same responsibility till it gets to Units level.

Leadership goes with responsibility and not just title. Though God has given us the victory already, but we must work towards it"

This was the advise issued by Dr. Awofadeju to the state leadership of ACCORD party and governor in preparation for the forthcoming governorship election in the state. This he said with our media on political discuss.

He buttressed his point that Lackladaisical attitude and over confidence may have negative effects on the outcome. Leaders should not relax, believing in the electorates who can change their minds at the face of vote buying. But, should be engaging the electorates and be reminding them of superb developmental work done by Governor Ademola Adeleke, for them to return him for the second term for the progress of Osun State.

He said he believes that Governor Adeleke will surely be victorious in the poll come August 15th.

Osun NUJ Inaugurates Exco for Federated Chapel

The inauguration took place on 3rd September, 2025 at NUJ Press Center , Osogbo . Dr. Peter Olayinka AWOFADEJU was sworn in as the Chairman of the chapel, along with Mr. Oyewole Temitope as Secretary.
