2027 Poll: Prince Abiola Aderinto declares interest in honourable member,, Egbedore State Constituency

Prince Abiola Aderinto on Tuesday 5th of May, 2026 formerly declared interest to represent Egbedore local government at the Osun State House of Assembly come 2027 general election.

Prince Aderinto is presently Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to Osun State Governor, Governor Ademola Adeleke in the Governor's Office. he hails from Iragberi in Egbedore local government. He has been a leader at one level to the other since he joined People's Democratic Party which methermophosis to ACCORD party now.

In the last general election,  Prince Abiola Aderinto (MANDELA) played a fantastic roles in the emergence of Elections that produced all elective officers in Egbedore LGA and Osun State at large. He is well detailed politically with the spirit of service to humanity.

"With a deep sense of responsibility, humility, and unwavering commitment to the progress of our constituency, I, Aremo Abiola Aderinto, hereby formally declare my intention to contest for the position of Honourable Member representing Egbedore State Constituency.

This decision is borne out of my enduring passion for service, my desire to contribute meaningfully to the development of our people, and my belief that together we can build a more prosperous, inclusive, and progressive Egbedore.

Our constituency is richly blessed with hardworking, resilient, and talented individuals. However, we are all aware of the challenges we face—ranging from youth unemployment, inadequate infrastructure, limited access to quality education, and the need for improved social welfare. 

These challenges require purposeful, transparent, and people-oriented representation.

If given the mandate, I pledge to:

Promote quality legislation that will enhance development at the grassroots.

Advocate for youth empowerment through skill acquisition, employment opportunities, and entrepreneurship support.

Champion educational advancement and capacity-building initiatives.


Facilitate infrastructural development across our communities.

Ensure that the voices of our people are heard and represented effectively.

Uphold transparency, accountability, and integrity in public service.

This is not just a political ambition; it is a call to serve and a commitment to work tirelessly for the betterment of every ward, every community, and every citizen of Egbedore."

He therefore seek support of all within the constituency to achieve this dream.

Osun NUJ Inaugurates Exco for Federated Chapel

 By Seun Omidiran  The Osun State Council of Nigeria Union of Journalists has inaugurated the new executive for Federated Chapel of the state . The inauguration took place on 3rd September, 2025 at NUJ Press Center , Osogbo . Dr. Peter Olayinka AWOFADEJU was sworn in as the Chairman of the chapel, along with Mr. Oyewole Temitope as Secretary. While inaugurating the new Exco members, the Council Secretary declared that, "as directed by the state council due to the prevailing circumstances surrounding the change of power in the chapel, only the Chairman, Dr. Peter Olayinka AWOFADEJU and the Secretary, Mr. Oyewole Temitope obtained nomination forms to their offices since about eight months ago when the outgone exco had been desolved and the NUJECO credentials committee headed by Dr. Simon Oladimeji Pinheiro was put in place."
