NYSC Recognises JABU as the Best Corps Employer in Ilesa Zone!

 

Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU), Ikeji-Arakeji, has been recognised by the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Osun State Secretariat, as the Best Corps Employer in Ilesa Zone.

The commendation, conveyed in a letter dated 14 July 2026 and signed by the Osun State Coordinator, Ekeng Ita Kubiangha, acknowledges the University's unwavering commitment to the ideals of the NYSC Scheme. The recognition highlights JABU's exceptional support for Corps Members, particularly in the areas of welfare, safety, mentorship, and the provision of an enabling environment that fosters professional growth and meaningful service.

The University Management received the commendation with appreciation, describing it as a testament to JABU's dedication to excellence, human development, and community service. The award further reinforces the institution's reputation as a supportive and nurturing workplace for young graduates undertaking their national service.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor O.A. Fakolujo commended members of staff whose collective efforts have contributed to this achievement and reaffirmed the University's commitment to maintaining the high standards that earned the recognition.
