BSST Osun Chapter Slams AMBO group's Unity Walk as "Show of Shame

Image
By Olayinka Awofadeju  In a scathing rebuke, the Bukola Saraki Strategy Team (BSST) Osun State chapter has condemned the rally organized in support of AMBO at Osogbo, describing it as a "show of shame." The rally, staged by supporters of the AMBO faction of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has been widely criticized for its perceived desperation and lack of substance. According to the BSST Osun State chapter, the APC's crisis-ridden state is a far cry from the peace and tranquility that Osun State is known for. The party's multiple aspirants, including Senator Iyiola Omisore, a former Deputy Governor of Osun State and National Secretary of the APC; Bola Oyebamiji, a former Commissioner for Finance in the state with an uninspiring and questionable record in public office and service delivery; and the serving National Secretary of the party, Dr. Ajibola Bashiru, are seen as mere opportunists seeking to exploit the state's peace for their own gain. In a statement...

By Tobiloba-Taiwo Awofadeju  ATTENTION: JAMB and NECO Registrars  A press release by Adebisi Ishola from Centre for Indigent Children Education (CICE) on 28th September, 2025 revealed the agony being inflicted on admission seekers into the Federal Universities in Nigeria by the rejection of NECO results has indeed called for the urgent attention of stakeholders in the education sector. Countless number of aspiring students are deliberately being denied admission opportunity with their rejection of the newly released NECO results! The established norm in the admission process into regular programmes in any university is the combination of UTME result with O' Level result or any of its equivalents. Prospective admission seekers are given opportunity to apply for admission, using Awaiting O' Level result, hoping for subsequent upload when the result is released. Unfortunately, many Federal Universities, exploited and extorted indigent and innocent students, by luring them to appl...
