 By Olayinka Awofadeju  Today Sunday 26th May, 2024 at People's Democratic Party Ofatedo meeting venue, several ADP members including their former House of Assembly candidate decamped to PDP. Among the decampees are Hon. Dare Faniran, Hassan Olasunkanmi Lawal, Adejoke Mariam, Fayemiwo Gbemisola, Adedotun Modinat, Olanihun Mofisat, Abodunde Jumoke, Olajumoke Adewumi and Lawal Olasunkanmi Hassan. Taiwo Adeleke has disclosed that the State Tourism Board will do everything within its power to formulate policies and programmes that will promote the growth and development of tourism and cultural heritage in the state. He stated this in Osogbo in his opening remarks during the stakeholders meeting of Oduafest Osun 2024. He explained that the event, which is billed to hold for three days between 23rd and 25th of June, 2024, aims to harness the power of culture and tourism for sustainable development, saying it is not only to help in creating a vibrant tourism industry, but will also play a crucial role in preserving our cultural heritage, thereby promoting the economic growth of the South West, especially, Osun state. Polytechnic boss legalizes his marriage

By Olayinka Awofadeju  Lecturer of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, Engr Samuel Dayo Ayinde Awofadeju officially formalised his marriage with his wife, Oluwatoyin Adejoke Awofadeju, Nee Ojeleke on 16th May, 2024 at Onireke, Ibadan Northwest Local Government. The registry wedding started few minutes passed eleven in the morning and had dignitaries in attendance, including, Engr. Yaya, Pastor Ponnle and his wife, Ijebu-Jesa Grammar School students' association, Chairman Mr. Yemi Iteola, Vice Chairman, Mr. Ojumu, National Vice President, Alhaja Osho, Mrs. Onifade, family and friends of the bridegroom.  Immediately after the ceremony at the registry, entertainment follows at recreation club, Adamasingba in Ibadan.
