The dilapidated roads become flooded during the rainy season, making it difficult for students to commute to and from the campus.          The poor road conditions not only cause delays for students trying to attend their classes, but also pose a safety hazard as the flooded roads can become slippery and increase the risk of accidents.  By Olayinka Awofadeju  Mood of many Nigerians change positively on Sunday morning as large number of citizens received SMS to invite them for the data capturing at various LCDAs in the nation. Osun State is not exempted, people gathered at the designated places attached with the SMS sent to them before stipulated time which is 9:00am. The programme is slater for five days, starting from Monday 22nd to Friday 26th of April. Instead of commencing by 9:00am, the exercise started by 11:00am on Monday at LCDA Secretariat, Magbon/Oyan road, Ila-Orangun and at different other places. The SMS sent made it clear for all beneficiaries to come with their NIN slip as it will the only requirement to benefit from the federal government grant. Tobiloba Taiwo -Awofadeju Osun State Government has disclosed its readiness to the commitment of protecting all its fixed and movable assets by using technological devises.  The Special Adviser to the Governor on Assets Management, Mrs Fausat Adebanjo disclosed this during the meeting of a committee put in place by the State Government for the kick off and implementation of Fixed Assets Management Information System (FAMIS). Mrs Adebanjo explained that capturing all state government owned assets by using various technological devices will reduce abuse, misuse and stealing of the assets.  According to her, Osun State Assets Management Agency  (O-SAMA) will, leave no stone unturned in collaborating with Counter House Consortium, World Bank and European Union to strengthen its implementation of fixing Assets Management Information System in the state. Tobiloba Taiwo-Awofadeju The Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke has urged the people of the state, especially, theatre stakeholders to sustain the legacies of the sector among future generations, thereby redeeming its glory for the benefit of the state. The Governor gave the advice at the year 2024 World Theater Day celebration, held in Osogbo, the State Capital.
